Sunday Antics

So the weather was semi-decent to go out riding.
First stop was Oakley but after some time fixing my brake, Mark and I discovered it was still quite wet so headed to War Memorial.
Where we found out that it was packed with bmxers :(
It wasnt long till we saw flips, 540s, 360whips
We were also joined by 10 and Nick.
Got some riding done though.
Highlight for me was a 180 over the box

Which resulted in a fist bump.
If you feel left out you can bump the screen.

sunday 17th

Well today was a story of two halves. Budge and phill both learned something new. steve manual on the deck and phill fotjam whips so props to them. Me on the otherhand things didnt go quite so well for. first fakie of the day and i somehow smacked my leg into my pedal (ouch), that kinda set the tone for the rest of the day. So for a couple of hours I merrily fell off. But after one to many falls admitidly quite a large fall off the top of the quarter, my evil alter ego "Moody Mark" came out (sorry for that fellas. Its ok though i did get punished for it :( I made the mistake of riding behind budge as he was fakieing the resulting crash ended up with me on the floor which hurt. so i went home battered and brused.
On a more light harted note here are some epic boobs we saw on saturday

epic

Anyway love you

Burbs

NightRiders

Well yesterday after fitting a new headset I decided I wanted to ride at night so I text the burbs and budgie and we arranged to meet up Bstoke skate park around 745ish.

I got there perfectly on time and budgie was already there so had a quick mess about, after about 10 mins of riding my headset became loose and nasty feeling, we took a look and desided I'd fitted it upside down :-( oh well, carry on.

Burbs arrived and after a bit of riding I actually switched out a few times and managed to drop in :-) scary shit as the ramps where starting to get wet...

Then another bike fault, this times Burbs' cranks came loose due to a missing spacer, we called it a day and went back to the car park for some quick maintenance, swapped my bearings round and it was all good :) Burbs managed to temp fix his bike today using a temp bolt and spacer.

Burbs and I then had a quick sesh up Oakley, i fell off grinding and twisted my ankle and got bars to the nuts :(
Burbs looked on form as usual...

Thats about all I have to say, no pics other than one of my car in the carpark...

because i have no friends

I went for a little ride today all by my self. it went ok new forks are nice although saying that they have made 360's so much harder. im sure it just me being a mentalist but because of the forks I crashed hard doing one.
But because im not a pansy like a certain member of the group who belived he had achived death with just a small graze, I brushed myself down and carried on (love you phill xx).
anyway dunno what else to say so yep love you xx

Lets Take It Back To The Old Skool

Well it’s been a while since we’ve had an update due to wrong parts being sent from Winstanleys and being unable to ride.
But parts came, the sun came out and we rode.
The four of us tried out the new Oakley setup with guest appearances from old school Martin and Ryan.
Started off quite nice with no scooter fags getting in the way.
Trying all sort of moves out on the new box, ranging from fufanus and one footers to fake-ing to disasters.

Then a flood of scooter fags came and ruined it for us, where we retreated to Basingstoke.
The glorious sun was shining down and we all tried something new.
Some of the highlights.
The Burbs got double peg stalls of the sub box dialled.
Phil can drop in with no probs.
And I did the spine (1st time since Winklebury burned down)

And then out of nowhere Phil’s headset decided to explode.
So we packed up and left heading for Phil’s place to see the damage.
Took the stem off, then the spacers, then pulled the cover to see that the bearings have no housing.
So Phil is out of action.
While at Phil’s residence the Burbs swapped forks and grips where we nearly broke two sets of bar ends.

So after a good start to the weekends riding ended on a bit of a down.

Pics to follow
