Midweek Update - Wet
A little bmxing update for you, it’s wet :(
Thinking outdoor park sessions are going to be hard to get on this part of the year.
The good silver lining news for that is more indoor parks :)
I was suppose to have a bit of a street session with Nick last night.
Unfortunately laziness got the better of me and had a bit of a night ride by myself.
A nice (nearly empty) wet car park a minutes ride away from my house to have some fun with.
Not a lot of tricks went down but I did land my first hop 180 to half cab out after about 50 failed attempts.
But I was stoked with it. Probably be my new wet riding spot.
Keep it loose

Last Minute Corby
A lot happened on a last minute road trip to Corby.
I won’t go into too much detail but I'll try my best to remember as much as possible.
So basically a wet Saturdays riding and a letdown of no warehouse session as it was stripped bare, we got the idea of a Sunday road trip to Corby.
What started out as 3peeps 3bikes 1car ended up with 10peeps and 4cars. (Nick, Parky, Tom, Rich, Silent Dave, Rayman, Crum, Ten, Burbs and myself)
After an hour or so faffin’ about we eventually made a start on the trip. (excluding the sneaky Burbs and Ten who shot off early)
It wasn’t long until we had to stop for Tom to pump up a flat car wheel and shortly after Rayman the tyre expert had to replace it while Rich got a shower.
After this 'little' setback we were back on roadtrip mode which consists of overtaking everything, swearing at each other, bumping into each other at standstills and generally getting lost.
Sometime later after losing Rayman and Crum around Bicester as they needed the toilet we made it with a convoy of two at Corby.
Some of the highlights I witnessed at Corby in no particular order:
Parky double peg the big ¼ and huge flairs into foam (not soo much on the resi but props for trying)
Burbs getting 720s in the foam pit & double pegs onto the big sub-box out of the bowl.
Phil generally impressed everyone. Props to him.
Crum x-up double peg grind 180 out
Bruza 540ing over the step-up, wallriding out of the bowl.
Rich rocking out everywhere. Fastplants and cans everywhere
Rayman did this 450 out of the bowl on to the sub-box to fakie in.
Nick whipping on the step up to toptube lander and boosting out of hit and nearly hitting his head on the support beams
Obviously there was lots of other stuff that happened but I was too busy loving Corby park.
Didn’t really get chance to take pics and vids of most of the day.
However Phil got a few snippets.

Tricks and Treating
Well Saturdays riding didn’t go down well. Mark and I had a fair few to drink on Friday night so we weren’t feeling to . . . fresh.
So we had some breakfast and we started riding.
Soon after realising we had no energy to do anything we called it a day.
Sunday looked like it will be a good days riding, weather was spot on. Just before leaving the house to go ride, it started to rain :(
So Nick suggested a sneaky warehouse session treat :)
After a little while sorting ourselves out and giving the place a sweep it was good to go :)
It wasn’t long till Nick whipped the sketchiest driveway you’ll ever see.
Parky was getting some good height on the wall ride.
I gave wall rides ago, which is the first time in five or so years.
Phil also joined us for a bit and took some photos.
Was quite a good session. Nice and chilled and no scooter fags anywhere.
